Tasty Paste® Dog and Puppy Wormer

DOSAGE: 30 mg piperazine per 1 lb. of body weight.

DIRECTIONS:
Remove cap from nozzle. Push plunger just enough to fill nozzle. Turn the knurled wheel on the plunger so that the side nearest the barrel is at the weight marking corresponding to the weight of the dog. Add to the feed or insert as far back in dog's mouth as possible. Press the plunger down as far as it will go. For animals up to 1 year of age, administer every 2 or 3 months; for animals over 1 year old, administer periodically as necessary. A repeat treatment should be given in 10 to 20 days to remove immature roundworms which may have entered the intestine from the lungs after the first dose. Laboratory fecal examinations should always be done to determine the need for treatment.

PRECAUTIONS:

Although Piperazine is a drug with a wide margin of safety, occasionally an animal may show nausea or muscle tremors. Such side effects are usually associated with overdosage. Therefore, recommended dosages should be followed carefully. Animals with known Kidney pathology should be treated only by a veterinarian. Do not use on sick or debilitated dogs.
