The Lookout Perch
lets your larger pet see out the car while laying down! For pets up to 70 pounds on the full and 35 pounds for the half bench. Protects the car seat from hair and dirt. Nylon Quilt and foam rubber construction. Machine washable and dryable.

1/2 Bench for the front seat: Height - 7" Length (sides) - 19" Width - 20" (across the front of the seat)
Full Bench for the back seat: Height - 7" Length (sides) - 19" Width - 47" (Left Door to Right Door)
Note: It is recommended that the Lookout Perch be used in the back seat.
HOW TO INSTALL THE LOOKOUT PERCH AND PROTECT YOUR PET
INSTALL ON THE BACK (REAR) SEAT (FULL BENCH VERSION):
Follow the instructions in general for front seats. There is an elastic strap attached to the top of the back part of the quilt. It goes between the back seat and the frame of the car, slipped around both corners. Many car owners will be surprised to learn they can pull back their rear seats ever so slightly and slip this elastic behind the seat, but yes, it can be done on most cars.
Hooks are on the bottom of the Perch and they simply slide under the seat between the seat and the floor and act as a "drag" to help anchor and hold in place the quilt. The hooks do not attach to anything.
Seat belt straps on both sides are connected to the car's center belt receptacles through the scooped out hole in the center of the Perch, then the loops on both sides of the Perch are connected to the lap seat belt and tightened, securing it to the seat.
Your car should have an adjustment for rear seats that lock the seat belt in place as it would for a child's booster or safety seat. If the seat belt is not locked, refer to your owner's manual.
MAKE YOUR PET SAFE in the REAR SEAT:
Once the perch is locked in place you can attach your pet's harness, with the strap we provide, (YOU NEED A HARNESS!) to either one of the rear seat belts and the snap end to their 0 ring on the harness. If you do not have a pet harness and need one click here.
WASHING/CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
Should you need to wash the cover, remove it by releasing and removing the strap buckles and pull off the cover from the foam. Machine wash gentle, no bleach, warm water and soap. Machine dry low heat and remove promptly while still damp.
