Nutro Pet Food: A Smart Choice

April 17th, 2012

As a pet owner, it’s up to you to make the right decisions for your furry little friends. You have to put in the effort to take care of them as best you can –keeping them clean, feeding them the right amount of food, and taking them to the vet when they are sick. Just like we need to eat healthy, so do our pets. They can’t make healthy decisions when it comes to their food choices. We must do it for them.

Nutro pet food is one of those smart choices. They sell both dog and cat food, wet and dry. All their food products are made with natural ingredients. Additionally, there are vitamins and minerals in the food as well. Vitamins and minerals are crucial to keeping your pet healthy –such as Omega-6 and Omega-3 fatty acids to give your pet a rich and glossy coat. Antioxidants will boost the pet’s immune system. Nutro is also proud to introduce Grain Free Limited Ingredients Diets for dogs. With zero grains, the food is a great option for dogs with sensitive stomachs. Plus, all natural ingredients means a healthier body for your dog.

What is the difference between Natural Choice, Ultra, & Max?

Also, why isn’t puppy food for small dogs made in 30# bags? If I have a litter of 8 Westies, and Momma starts eating it before she delivers, maybe 2 weeks or so, then 4 weeks post delivery, and the babies join her for the next 8 weeks, that is dozens of those crummy little 5 lb bags, and works out to about $85 for 30 lbs

Does Nutro have a special plan for Rescues? We have been feeding it for several years and love it. Most of our rescues continue to get it after they are adopted, too.

    Thank you,

    Hi Penny,
I would direct your question on product differences directly to Nutro. Also, several of their puppy kibbles are available in 30 pound bags. We don’t sell them because the shipping cost is so high for a heavy bag of food. Any savings we offer is lost in shipping cost. Having said that we do offer special orders for rescue groups. You would contact us directly at “cs@rescuepetstore.com” with the specific brand and product name.
Generally, people who buy large bags of food do so through their local pet store.
As to special plan for rescues, you’d once again, have to ask them. I wouldn’t be surprised if they do.
    Good luck in your efforts,
